For example, Google Play removed MetaMask\u2019s official beta app. They reverted the decision a week later on Jan. 1, 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By 2019, MetaMask began releasing mobile app versions for closed beta testing. They followed the official public release for iOS and Android in September 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In October 2020, MetaMask added MetaMask Swaps to the desktop extension. It&#8217;s a built-in DEX aggregation service. During the process, you will have to confirm your seed phrase. Use a confirmation button and a message. After installing the MetaMask extension, go to your browser&#8217;s extension settings. Sign in to the site.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Metamask will ask you to create a strong password. Accept MetaMask\u2019s terms of service, and save your seed phrase. Next, you\u2019ll be prompted to accept the terms of service and receive a unique Ethereum wallet address. Once you\u2019ve confirmed your new account, you\u2019re ready to use MetaMask.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you sign in to your MetaMask account, you can connect it to the network of your choice. To add a network, select \u201cNetworks\u2019\u2019 and then click \u201cAdd Network.\u201d You can also add the Celo network to MetaMask manually.
